At Chesterfield Education Foundation, we’re all here for the same reason - to support the educational needs of our community’s children. Our commitment to students and education began in 1989 with our partnership with Chesterfield County Public Schools (CCPS). Since its formation, the foundation has provided close to $10 million in resources, affecting more than 63,000 students, teachers, parents, and guardians across Chesterfield County.
As a foundation, we do more than provide additional funding for public education, we are innovators working in partnership with parents, teachers, and administrators, continually identifying and developing initiatives that improve school performance and student achievement. We have experienced a 490% increase in funding for projects and innovative grants in our schools since 2016. As we grow, so does our need for partners, donors, and passionate, caring team members.
Our work in support of CCPS is more crucial than ever as principals and teachers look for new instructional strategies and approaches to strengthen public schools and ignite student learning. The Operations Manager is responsible for providing executive level administrative and operational support to the organization, which includes vendor management, accounts payables and receivables, programs, technology management, and human resources support. This position also supports the MEGA Mentors organization.
